It's been widely studied that immersing yourself in nature has positive repercussions on our mental state. I often feel as if stepping into nature always makes me feel rejuvenated in some way. For a while i had this image in my mind of branches and rocks twisting and turning around a figure, quite happy with the results and is a design element i definatly want to pursue more in the future. Conceptually the work is about how our environment can effect us, and even when the world or our minds are twisting and turning around us we may find a way to steady ourselves in the moment.
 
Made on Fabriano watercolor paper/ hot pressed/ acid free/ 300 gsm.
